What Quality Systems and/or ISO 9001:2000 Accreditations does Transcat presently have?
TRANSCAT calibration labs are ISO 9001:2000 registered with Underwriters Laboratories Inc., UL file A1059. Our strict accordance with cGMPs, GMPs and GLPs help ensure the highest quality calibration service. All TRANSCAT calibration labs have already passed or are working towards accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 by NVLAP or A2LA. These audits also include full assessment to ANSI/NCSL Z-540-1-1994.
Does Transcat offer comprehensive documentation?
Our proprietary CalTrak Metrology Management System provides the calibration documentation, tracking and recall information for all of your instruments. CalTrak On-Line offers instant access to data sheets, certificates of calibration, recall and asset listings, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What kind of turnaround times does Transcat offer?
Transcat offers prompt and responsive seven-day turnaround from any of our 12 full-service calibration labs across North America. We can also provide comprehensive calibration service right in your facility.
Does Transcat have Life Science Industry Expertise?
Our expert calibration technicians are specially trained to calibrate process instruments used in the life sciences industry based upon manufacturers' specifications or specific customer requirements.
Can Transcat calibrate Deadweight Testers?
Our Houston, Texas lab specializes in deadweight tester calibration. We calibrate, adjust, shave, repair and rework your deadweight tester based on the manufacturers' specifications or your specific requirements. We can calibrate pneumatic deadweight testers up to 1000 PSI/PSIA to an uncertainty of 20ppm and hydraulic deadweight testers from 40 to 10,000 PSI to an uncertainty of 50 ppm.
Does Transcat have the capabilities to do Physical Dimensional calibrations?
We sure do. We work in closed environment labs, monitored continuously, with 68 deg F and 45% relative humidity, protected by an airlock. We utilize the LABMASTER Universal Measuring System, the most sophisticated calibration services instrumentation available anywhere. We are capable of doing seven-place calibration accuracy, to the millionth of an inch.
